<p><strong>What is it?</strong></p>
<p>The Palmer Leadership Institute contains six module presented in three sessions to help pastors and leaders develop their ministries.   Through a process of instruction, coaching and mentoring each participant will be equipped and encouraged to lead and develop a healthy Christ-honoring growing church.</p>

<p><strong>What are the six modules?</strong></p>
<p>1. Renewing the spiritual leader.<br />
2. Developing a healthy church.<br />
3. Organizing for growth and ministry.<br />
4. Becoming a godly leader and communicator.<br />
5. Understanding and dealing with conflict and change.<br />
6. Developing leaders within your congregation.</p>
<p>Dr. Doug Earls will be presenting on Friday April 30th from 6:30 to 9:00 pm , and Saturday May 1st from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with lunch provided.</p>
<p><strong>Douglas Earls</strong> is a native of Missouri.  He has been the pastor of Calvary Chapel FWB Church in Buffalo, Missouri, for 18 years.  Under his influence the church has experienced significant numerical growth.  He is the founder and facilitator of the Palmer Leadership Institute, which specializes in developing pastoral leadership skills.  Doug presents leadership training in the nation of Panama each year, and he is assisting in the development of a new seminary in Chame.  He holds the following degrees: B.A. from Harris Teachers College in St. Louis, MO; and M.R.E. from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO; and a D. Min from A.G.S.T. in Springfield, MO.  He and his wife Betsy have one daughter, Anna.</p>

Board would like to invite all pastors, <span class="il">and</span> their <span class="il">worship</span> leaders <span class="il">and</span> teams to Calvary Free Will Baptist Church<span id="more-255"></span> on Thursday, March 19th, 2009 at 7 pm for a <span class="il">Praise</span> <span class="il">and</span> <span class="il">Worship</span> <span class="il">Seminar</span>.  Matthew Lappin <span class="il">and</span> Travis Penn will be conducting this <span class="il">seminar</span> with a focus on helping pastors <span class="il">and</span> <span class="il">worship</span> leaders to work together.  Matthew has worked with <span class="il">worship</span> teams at Bearpoint Free Will Baptist Church in Sesser.  Travis is the pastor of Calvary FWB Church as well as an instrumentalist for the Calvary <span class="il">Praise</span> Team.</p>
